PERRYSVILLE, Ind. — Fred (Oral) Alderson, 82, of Perrysville Route 1, died unexpectedly at his home yesterday morning (Sept. 3, 1968). Vermillion County Coroner Nick Karanovich is investigating to determine the exact cause of death. Born Oct. 29, 1886, in Perrysville, he was a son of Richard and Ellen Hughes Alderson. He was a life resident of the Perrysville area. Mr. Alderson was a farmer. He was a member of Lowes Chapel Church of Christ. Survivors include his widow, Trula Hewitt Alderson, and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving are a foster daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Phillips, Danville, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the Barrick & Son Funeral Home in Danville with Robert Benjamin of the Pleasant Mound Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be at the Pleasant Mound Cemetery near Georgetown. Friends will be received at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday.
